Application deadlines for Slovene citizens and citizens of the Member States of the EU

The Third Call for enrolment (only SLO and EU citizens) into Master degree programmes at the School of Economics and Business University of Ljubljana for the academic year 2023/24 will be available for the following programmes:

  • Ekonomika javnega sektorja in okolja (only in Slovene) – part-time study
  • Management in ekonomika v zdravstvenem varstvu (only in Slovene) – part-time study
  • Sports Management – part-time study
  • Poslovna informatika (only in Slovene) – part-time study
  • Poslovodenje in organizacija (only in Slovene) – part-time study
  • Računovodstvo in revizija (only in Slovene) – part-time study
  • Economics – full-time study
  • Tourism – full-time study
  • Supply Chain and Logistics – full-time study

How to submit?

The candidate submits the recognition application together with the study enrolment application (on the online eVŠ portal)

In the application, you can apply for two programmes (first choice and the second one in case you would not be accepted for the first one).

Instructions for SEB LU graduates!

Graduates of the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business are required to deliver only application form and motivation letter.


What to submit

Candidates are requested to submit supporting documents together with the study enrolment application on the eVŠ portal:

  • Scan/photo of your Bachelor diploma or certificate of the graduation
  • Scan/photo of your transcript of records of your Bachelor study.
  • Scan/photo of English or Slovene official translation of your diploma and transcript of records.
  • Motivation letter (approximately 500 words)
    (Candidates applying to a master's programme offered in English language are required to submit the letter of motivation in English language (approximately 500 words).
  • A short chronological description of your entire education (signed by candidate - sample attached).
  • English language certificate*.
  • Copy of your passport (EU candidates can send personal identity card instead).

*Candidates must present a language certificate of their English language skills: The minimum required scores are: TOEFL: TOEFL score of 79 (IBT), IELTS: IELTS score of 6 for English, Cambridge/Oxford: B2. Instead of the international certificate attesting knowledge of the English language (such as TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, etc.) candidate can submit a certificate of attending student exchange programme, offered in English language (Erasmus exchange, summer school etc.) or similar.

The electronic versions of documents shall be verified by the issuing institution at our request.

Procedure for recognition of prior education

Candidates who have completed undergraduate study programme abroad (not Slovenia) may enrol in the first year of second cycle master’s study programme if they complete the procedure of recognition of foreign undergraduate education. The recognition procedure is a part of the enrolment procedure. The candidate submits the recognition application together with the study enrolment application (on the web portal eVŠ).
