In a small, open economy like Slovenia, international business is the engine of development.
In a globally connected world, companies face daily challenges of internationalisation, meeting global and local consumers, and constantly evolving business models. If you are interested in working in an international environment, getting to know different business cultures or have ambitions to work abroad, the Master's programme in International Business is the right choice for you. The programme prepares you for work in Slovenian and foreign international companies and institutions.
In the International Business programme, you will learn about the international business environment, the specifics of marketing, and the sociological and cultural dimensions. You will learn about economic trends, competitiveness, EU economic policies, logistics and consumer behaviour. The focus is on projects with companies, analyses of real-world challenges and the use of international databases, which will develop your understanding of the diversity of the international environment. Many foreign students are enrolled in the program, enriching the experience. You will work with national and international professors and guest lecturers. The programme provides you with a wide range of knowledge and skills for work on a global scale.
