  • In 24 October 2012, Mojmir Mrak participated at the key resource person at the CEF policy seminar titled: Fiscal Impact Assessment of Structural Reforms”. The seminar, it took place in Danilovgrad, Montenegro, was organized by the Centre of Excellence in Finance, Ljubljana, Slovenia. >>>

  • In September 2013, Mojmir Mrak participated at a conference organised by the Association of Economics of Montenegro in Milocer, Montenegro. He presentation was titled »Youth unemployment in Europe: trends, causes, consequences and policy responses. >>>
  • In September 2013, Mojmir participated at the panel discussion »If money is problem then we do not have a problem – can (only) money solve our crisis in Europe?« organised by Club Alpbach in Belgrade, Serbia. >>>
  • In October 2013, a seminar on 2014-2020 multiannual financial framework of the EU was organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Mojmir Mrak acted as a program director. The seminar was attended by 16 civil servants from 5 EU candidate countries. At the seminar, Mojmir Mrak had two presentations, one on the concept of public finances at the EU level, and another one on conceptual features of the negotiations about the medium-term financial framework. >>>
  • In December 2013, JMC holder participated at a seminar on financial aspects of pre-accession negotiations organized at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, Montenegro by a fellow JMC holder prof. Gordana Djurovic. >>>
  • In March 2014, a seminar on IPA funds in the multiannual financial framework 2014-2020 was organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Mojmir Mrak acted as program director. The seminar was attended by 14 civil servants from 7 EU candidate countries. At the seminar, Mojmir Mrak had three presentations, one on the concept of the EU budget, second on medium-term financial framework negotiations, and the third one on programming of structural actions funds. >>>
  • In 30 May 2014, Mojmir Mrak participated at a conference on »Ten years of the new Europe« dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Enlargement« that took place at the European Union Institute in Florence, Italy. At the conference, he presented a paper titled New member states within changed economic governance of the EU and the euro area. >>>
  • In July 2014, Mojmir Mrak participated at the regional workshop »EU enlargement strategy, economic accession criteria and relevance of SEE 2020 strategy« organized by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and GIZ in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the workshop, he had a presentation on economic policy challenges in meeting the Copenhagen economic criteria.
  • On 11 and 12 December 2014, Mojmir Mrak participated at an annual conference on global economic perspectives organized by the OECB in Vienna, Austria.
  • On 2 – 4 February 2015, a seminar on IPA II funds within the multiannual financial framework 2014-2020 was organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Mojmir Mrak acted as program director. The seminar was attended by 20 civil servants from EU candidate countries. At the seminar, Mojmir Mrak had three presentations, one on the concept of the EU budget, second on medium-term financial framework negotiations, and the third one on programming of structural actions funds.

  • On 15 and 16 May, Mojmir Mrak participated at the international conference on Activating the Sources of Economic Growth in Kosovo organized at the 20th anniversary of Reinvest institute in Prishtina. He was a member of the panel at the introductory working session.
  • On 27 and 28 May 2015, Mojmir Mrak participated at the conference organised by the National Bank of Serbia (central bank of the country) in Belgrade, Serbia. His presentation was titled »European Economic Governance and Implications for EU candidate Countries«.
  • On 29 and 30 May 2015, Mojmir Mrak participated at the international conference Economic Recovery in the Post-Crisis Period organized by the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, Makedonia. His key note speech was titled: »EU Candidate Countries and Changed European Economic Governance«.

  • On 1– 3 June 2015, a seminar on budget submissions by line ministries was organised by the Centre of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia and JMC holder acted as program director. The seminar was attended by 25 civil servants from EU candidate countries. At the seminar, JMC holder had presentation on structural reforms in line of EU accession.
  • On 15 June 2015, Mojmir Mrak participated at the conference »Future of the EU Multiannual Framework organised by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belin, Germany.
  • On 25 to 27 June 2015, Mojmir Mrak participated at the First World Congress of Comparative Economics that took place in Rome Italy. He participated at a special panel on Why Balkan is not taking off.
  • In the school year 2014 /2015, JMC holder and some other FELU professors and professors from the Faculty of Law teamed up with Ernst & Young and organize a research competition for students on selected EU topics (taxes and economic governance). In May 2015, the winning research papers were presented to the public.
