Aims of the course

This course provides both a theoretical and practical look into the world of managing alternative investments. The course will provide the students with fundamental knowledge of alternative investments, their characteristics and specifics of their valuation. The acquired knowledge will upgrade their prior knowledge on portfolio management and traditional asset classes. The students will gain critical insight when and how is it appropriate to use alternative investments.
