Admissions Criteria

Master Programmes: Bank and Financial Management, Money and Finance, Management, International Business, Supply Chain and Logistics , Entrepreneurship, Accounting and Auditing, Marketing, Tourism

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes in relevant study programmes with at least 180 ECTS, or those that have completed the current programme of study for qualification in relevant study programmes;
  • Graduates of equivalent courses listed in the previous paragraph in unrelated areas of study and must complete additional academic requirements of 12 ECTS: Microeconomics 1 (6 ECTS) and Introduction to Business (6 ECTS). Information on differential exams >>>

In accordance with Article 41 of the Law of Higher Educations, candidates are ranked in cases where the number of available spots are limited. Candidates are ranked based on their undergraduate GPA (70%) and the exam results of Type 2 and Type 3 undergraduate elective courses (30%).

Master of Economics with Data Science Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes with at least 180 ECTS in the following relevant areas of study: Economics, Business and Administrative Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Information and Communication Technologies, or equivalent study programme obtained under current regulations in Slovenia or abroad;
  • Graduates of first-level study programmes with at least 180 ECTS in unrelated areas of study or an equivalent study programme obtained under current regulations in Slovenia or abroad, if he/she has completed study obligations that are essential for the continuation of the study programme.

In cases where the number of available spots are limited, candidates are ranked based on their undergraduate GPA (70%) and the exam results of Type 2 and Type 3 undergraduate elective courses (30%).

Candidates can fulfill additional study obligations:

  • during the 1st level studies or in advanced training programs, if they have completed at least two basic economic courses in the fields of: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Principles of Business Administration, International Economics (the coordinator of the study programme decides on the suitability of other subjects as substitutes for the differential exams) in a total of at least 12 ECTS or
  • by fulfilling additional academic requirements of 12 ECTS: Microeconomics 1 (6 ECTS) and Introduction to Business (6 ECTS). Information on differential exams >>>

Master of Business and Organization Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes in relevant study programmes with at least 180 ECTS, or those that have completed the current programme of study for qualification in relevant study programmes;
  • Graduates of equivalent courses listed in the previous paragraph in unrelated areas of study

In accordance with Article 41 of the Law of Higher Educations, candidates are ranked in cases where the number of available spots are limited. Candidates are ranked based on their undergraduate GPA (70%) and the exam results of Type 2 and Type 3 undergraduate elective courses (30%).

Master of Business Informatics Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes in relevant study programmes with at least 180 ECTS, or those that have completed the current programme of study for qualification in relevant study programmes;
  • Graduates of equivalent courses listed in the previous paragraph in unrelated areas of study and must complete additional academic requirements of 12 ECTS: Microeconomics 1 (6 ECTS) and Introduction to Business (6 ECTS). Information on differential exams >>>

In cases where the number of available spots are limited, candidates are ranked based on their undergraduate GPA.

Master of Management and Economics in Health Care Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of the study programme for the first Bologna Process cycle and the study programme for a previous graduate qualification in a relevant area of study according to Frascati classification - Social Sciences, Business and Administration Sciences, Natural Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Humanities with at least 180 ECTS;
  • Graduates of the programme of study that are not included in the previous paragraph and earned at least 180 ECTS. Student must complete additional academic requirements equivalent to 12 ECTS: Microeconomics 1 (6 ECTS) and Introduction to Business (6 ECTS).

In cases where the number of available spots are limited, candidates are ranked based on their first cycle GPA. Students receive 1 point for each tenth of a point over 5.0, so a maximum of 50 points is available (example: average score 7.6 = 26 points).

Master of Sport Management Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes from any area of study with at least 180 ECTS or from an equivalent study programme obtained under current regulations in Slovenia or abroad.

In cases where the number of available spots are limited, candidates are ranked based on their first cycle GPA (70%) and the elective exam results conducted by the Selection committee (30%).

Master of Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science Programme

First-year enrolment is open to:

  • Graduates of first-level programmes in relevant study areas with at least 180 ECTS;
  • Graduates of a programme of study for graduate qualification in relevant areas of study;
  • Graduates of equivalent courses listed in the above paragraphs from other areas of study and completing additional academic requirements of 12 ECTS: Microeconomics 1 (6 ECTS) and Mathematics for Business and Economic Sciences (6 ECTS).

Undergraduate programmes in the first and second paragraphs that are considered relevant areas of study for entry into the Master's Degree Programme are those by Iscedovo classification for Social Sciences (31), Mathematics and Statistics (46) and those by the Klassius classification Economics (314), Physics (440), and Physics and Astronomy (441).

OFFICE HOURS OF THE STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE

  • Monday and Thursday: 10 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
    From July 1 to September 30, 2022, we will not have afternoon office hours on Tuesdays.
  • However, communication with students can still take place by e-mail through the colleagues of the Student Affairs Office.
