Knowledge and skills acquired by taking this programme
Bank and Financial Management qualifies students to perform a wide array of tasks related to financial management in enterprises, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions as well as to work in financial markets and in the non-profit and public sectors.
Students gain extensive knowledge about the operation of financial markets, financial risk management, as well as investment and equity management and are capable of making a financial analysis, valuing a company, adopting financial decisions in companies etc.

Graduates of this programme will be able to find employment in positions related to financial functions in companies, a variety of positions in financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies as well as in non-profit organisations and regulatory institutions (e.g. central bank, banking and insurance supervisory institutions).

Double Degree
Students enrolled in Master programme, specialization Bank and Financial Management, have a possibility (first year, first semester) to opt for a Double Degree programme and spend a part of their studies at partner institution based on a valid agreement/tender. Number of places is limited.
UL SEB is currently offering double degree (for specialization Bank and Financial Management) with the following partner institution(s):
- BI Norwegian Business School (Norway)
- University of Vaasa (Finland)
Normally Double degree programme includes spending one year at UL SEB and one year at partner institution. After successful completion of all programme requirements student receives a master degree from UL SEB as well as a degree from partner institution.
