Study Status
| Full-time study | Full-time study programmes are held at the FELU in accordance with the academic calendar. The academic year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th. It is divided into two semesters: winter semester (October to January) and the summer semester (February to June). Lectures are from October 1st through the middle of January. The four week period following the end of lectures in the winter semester is the winter exam period. Summer semester courses begin in the middle of February and end in early June. The summer exam period follows the end of courses for the summer semester. Students may also sit for exams during the autumn exam period, which is from the end of August through the middle of September. |
| Part-time study |
Part-time study programmes are based on a special schedule that is designed to conduct courses sequentially. Students are assessed at the end of each course to determine whether or not to continue with the subsequent course. Courses are held in the afternoon and on Saturday, depending staff and facility availability. This method of study requires more independent work from students. Admission deadlines are determined annually. The Admissions Office prepares the schedule of admissions by October 10th for each academic year. The same guidelines apply to students participating in the distance learning programme unless stated otherwise by the FELU. Study centers for the distance learning programme are:

As governed by the regulations of the FELU Senate, a student may change his/her study status (full-time/part-time) only once during his/her study.
