How is the automotive industry preparing for the future? This question was at the heart of a compelling guest lecture by Dr.-Ing. Armin Messerer, Director of Global Product Management and Purchasing Lifecycle and Mobility at MAHLE—one of the world’s leading Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

From 7 July to 26 September 2025, the CEK will operate on summer opening hours. Before visiting the CEK Library, the Pink or Green Study Areas or the Finance Lab, please check their availability.

IMB students are in full preparation mode for their final project, which will be presented at the Portorož Business Conference in November.

From 4 July to 4 August 2025, due to an inventory at CEK Library, borrowing of older materials from our storage will be temporarily limited. Books from the open shelves library collection will remain available as usual.

Niko Klanšek, an inspiring serial entrepreneur, advisor, and investor, captivated the audience on May 14, 2025, during a lecture hosted by Prof. Dr. Boštjan Antončič as part of the Entrepreneurship course in the international undergraduate program.

The second face-to-face meeting of the FORCE project – Forensic Accounting and Fraud in Contemporary Digital Environment – took place at Kozminski University in Warsaw on 17 & 18 June 2025 and brought together representatives from all four partner institutions: Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Faculty of Economics – Skopje), the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb, the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana and the host Kozminski University.

The meeting featured a presentation on forensic accounting research, finalization of the FORCE Master’s program structure, discussion on European accreditation, and collaborative work on student admission, selection, and evaluation procedures, along with planning the next project steps..

A big thank you to our excellent hosts at Kozminski University for their warm hospitality and smooth organisation. We are now looking forward to the next project meeting, which will take place in September at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana.
